EUROPEAN CULTURAL FUND

The European Cultural Foundation is a private not-for-profit organisation based in Amsterdam (European Cultural Foundation, Jan Van Goyenkade 5, 1075 HN, Amsterdam). It promotes cultural, social and educational activities which are multi-national and European. By European it means Europe as a whole (including Eastern Europe), not just EC counties, and projects which involve countries outside the EC, as well as in it, are preferred.

Projects must:

The Foundation will normally pay no more than half the total project costs; applicants must demonstrate that they can find the other funding from some other source.

Projects should be designed to enhance cultural cooperation on a European level. Grants are one-off and typically ECU 2,500-25,000. They are not awarded retrospectively.
